| Forehead Lift
Drooping of the lateral eyebrows which accentuates eyelid
heaviness and gives a tired expression may be treated with a
brow or forehead lift. The vertical lines between the eyebrows
which may give a concerned or even angry expression can also be
treated with a forehead lift procedure. The forehead lift is
done either with the assistance of an endoscope (Endoscopic Brow
Lift) or with an incision which extends from ear to ear that is
placed behind or at the hairline (Open Brow lift). Endoscopic
forehead lifts allow for smaller, limited incisions, but are
less effective in reducing horizontal forehead wrinkles that
open brow lift procedures. Upper eyelid surgery is frequently
done in conjunction with forehead lifts. |
